Water Utility Management  is Georgia’s largest private operator of community water and wastewater systems. We hold permits to operate over 200 community water systems and 20 wastewater systems in Georgia, serving over 26,000 homes. We are headquartered in Savannah, GA and have been in business since 1970. We aim to provide our customers with safe, reliable Drinking Water and Wastewater service, with an outstanding customer experience.

Although WUM owns nearly all the systems we operate, we also offer contract operation and consulting services for others. We offer expertise in all aspects of water and wastewater procedures, including design, regulatory approval, regulatory compliance, construction, maintenance, and general operations.  We grow our business through continued construction of community water systems and acquisition of water systems from other operators.

Our coverage area currently stretches across  southeast Georgia, serving over 26,000 households from the following counties:  Atkinson, Brantley, Bryan, Bulloch, Camden,  Chatham, Coffee, Cook, Effingham, Glynn, Liberty, Long, Lowndes, McIntosh, Pierce, Ware, and Wayne.

Acquisition

Since 1980, Water Utility Management has been the most active purchaser of public and private systems in the state of Georgia.

Design

We design water and wastewater systems in-house or in coordination with designated engineers.

Public-Private Partnerships

We have experience with bid / proposal processes and in participating in successful PPPs with local governments.

Construction

We construct or oversee construction of water and wastewater systems for private developers or PPPs.

Managed Contract Services

We operate water and wastewater systems on a contract basis.

Consulting

We have over 40 years of experience in our industry and we are available to assist developers, owners, or governments achieve their goals.

Capital Investment

We have significant financial resources and will contribute monetarily toward water and wastewater projects.
